Community Gatepath Events, Burlingame - May 19, 2012 and August 4, 2012

The Touch-A-Truck Event...

On Saturday May 19, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at 1764 Marco Polo Way, in Burlingame, ABC volunteers assisted at Community Gatepath's annual Touch-a-Truck event, where kids of all ages got to have fun exploring fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles and other work vehicles. ABC manned the "paint a truck" station where the kids were able to be creative and get their hands dirty by painting one of the white Community Gatepath vans using finger paints and sponges. The station was a huge success. Tons of children showed up and a lot of fun was had by all. See some of the pictures below

Hillsborough Auxiliary To Community Gatepath's
Inside and Out Sale

On August 4, 2012 from 12:00 - 3:30 p.m. ABC volunteers assisted the Hillsborough Auxiliary To Community Gatepath with their annual Inside and Out Sidewalk Sale, where we helped ring up customers and wrap items for this phenomenal sidewalk sale. Everything from silver tea-sets to antique vases, vintage clothes and wood furniture was sold, with all proceeds going to funding some of Community Gatepath's amazing programs. We also purchased a few things ourselves!!
